21st Amendment Brewery and Elysian Brewing – He Said (Belgian Style Tripel) (2014)

NicAA: Pours a hazy gold with a thick, fluffy head. Yeasty, fruity aroma, with big banana, ginger and pumpkin along with fall spice. 9/10

NicTM: Medium body and carbonation. Taste mirrors aroma, with banana, peach, peppery spice, pumpkin, along with earthy hops and yeast funk. 9/10

NicP: The pumpkin meat works well in the tripel background, with the fruity yeast and earthy hops bringing out the best of the gourd. 4p

NicO: Eureka! Unique takes on pumpkinbeer that really work are a welcome addition to the style. Killer cans too, SHe said. 91/100

AlexAA: Hazy goldenflower w/ lots of visible sediment making a cloudy pour, classic bright Belgian aroma w/ a soft addition of pumpkin puree & tarragon. 10/10

AlexTM: Earthy groundwork from hops lays nice lattice to support juicy pumpkin, spicy ginger, light tarragon, and layered citrus notes. 9/10

AlexP: Dense, pureed pumpkin has a smoothie-like quality, but the yeast helps it stay luminous & not clunky 4P

AlexO: Just when you thought the party was ending, this guest arrives and the evening begins anew – refreshing, delicious, unique. 94/100
