Schlafly Beer – Pumpkin Ale (2014)

NicAA: Garnet pour with a thin, hazel head. Light but present lacing. Wonderful rich aroma of cinnamon, allspice, vanilla and sweet pumpkin. 10/10

NicTM: Ginger, biscuity, bready sweet malt. Perfectly balanced and layered fall spice, delicious gourd coated in brown sugar…dang! 10/10

NicP: Showcased perfectly, just like a perfectly crafted pumpkin pie. 5p

NicO: As traditional pumpkin ales go, this is the absolute pinnacle. The Patrick Stewart of pumpkin beer, it’s impossible not to like. 97/100

AlexAA: Radiant copper pour with an inviting aroma of cinnamon, cloves, and sweet squashy pumpkin 9/10

AlexTM: A perfect demonstration on how nutmeg & cinnamon in the right ratio can let pumpkin meat be both savory and dessert meat in ribbons of syrupy ale. 10/10

AlexP: It’s the glass slipper amount to pumpkin ales – fits like a glove, even after midnight. 5P

AlexO: A thick, warming ale that will melt in your mouth like a slice of squash-pumpkin pie fresh out of the oven. 95/100
