Harpoon Brewery – Imperial Pumpkin (2014)

NicAA: Sticky molasses looking brew with rich aroma of cinnamon, brown sugar, chocolate, vanilla and pumpkin meat. 9/10

NicTM: Boozy cocoa, vanilla and orange zest, backed up by cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin. Little alcohol burn in the finish. 8/10

NicP: A big boozy mix in which you could lose our noble gourd, but its there, and a wonderful addition. 4p

NicO: Like a rum-spiked cocoa, that develops a vinous quality with great layers as it warms. A definite fireside sipper. 83/100

AlexAA: A deep brown that tints red in the light, a roasted, but sweet aroma carries a backbone of cinnamon strongly on a body of molasses 7/10

AlexTM: A thin stout with ginger that slices thru a smokey cocoa, a finish of black licorice & cloves 5/10

AlexP: Overtly sweet pumpkin – like that person that annoys us all by being TOO NICE. You know who I’m talking about. 6P

AlexO: Appears thicker than it is, and has an off-putting aftertaste after a fine aroma – wolfstout in sheep’s clothing. 64/100
