Cisco Brewers – Pumple Drumkin (2014)

09 Sep

AlexAA: Bright carrot-like orange with a frothy cream head, VERY slight piney aroma with a hint of nutmeg. 5/10

AlexTM: Faint sweet pumpkin and caramel pokes through initial piney hops and dryness of the finish, light cloves and nutmeg 6/10

AlexP: The pumpkin here is like Waldo – you have to search awful hard for it. 3P

AlexO: This pumpkin is sweeter in the can. Just saying’. 60/100

NicAA: Clear orange with fluffy head and aroma of citrusy hop+faint molasses. 8/10

NicTM: Pinier hops taste, light nutmeg. The hops overpower the very light spice and pumpkin, but this isn’t necessarily bad if you’re a hop fan. 8/10

NicP: Pumpkin? Hardly any it seems, or hidden under that hop-blanket. 2p

NicO: Much less tomato-y than last yr. Nice bright hops. Pumpkin/spice are second fiddle in a refreshingly savory anti-pie. If you’re looking for an alternative fall beer, this is a fair option. 76/100
