New Holland Brewing Co. – Ichabod Pumpkin Ale (2014)

NicAA: Inviting russet color w. cinnamon upfront nose and pumpkin. Dash of nutmeg. 8/10

NicTM: Mid to high carbonation, and thinner mouthfeel. Light first taste moves into malty, big cinnamon burn with some nutmeg tones. 7/10

NicP: More so in the aroma than the taste. Overpowered by the cinnamon. 3p

NicO: Great label art. Sadly I remember liking this more last year though. Lots of cinnamon, nice aroma but spicing is a bit one dimensional. Could use a little vanilla or orange zest to compliment and smooth out. 77/100

AlexAA: A rich scarlet pour with slight head, and a pumpkin laden scent w/ a pinch of cinnamon and healthy dash of nutmeg. 9/10

AlexTM: Sweet malt and thick pumpkin are complemented with subtle nutmeg and a cinnamon that lingers – heavier mouthfeel than I expected. 9/10

AlexP: Fresh, ripe, sweet, balanced – amazing when a pumpkin ale allows the pumpkin to just taste like a mother lovin’ pumpkin. 5P

AlexO: Classic is classic. This ale knows how to release flavor from all ingredients making the pic in the recipe book that everyone aspires to. 93/100
