Jack’s Abby – Mom and Pop’s Harvest Pumpkin Crop Lager (2013)

AlexAA: light ruby w/ a rich cinnamon bouquet dashed with light nutmeg, cloves &pumpkin 9/10

AlexTM: light mouthfeel but bready malt combined with fresh pumpkin & cinnamon make crisp, fresh flavors the focus 8/10

AlexP: there might as well be a vine coming out of my glass – it doesn’t get fresher. 5p

AlexO: Grower, not a shower. Don’t be fooled that you need all of the spices to have clean, simple flavors. 90/10

NicAA: Pure crisp copper with lager head and massive nose of pumpkin. Sweet malt, pumpkin, clean, simple. 8/10

NicTM: Marzen-like malt profile which moves into very fleshy pumpkin. Light body and very light carbonation, smooth. 8/10

NicP: Tons, and fresh. The pumpkin is the front and center star here, but it’s crazy fresh, well roasted, and so flavorful. 7p

NicO: Proudly showcases quality Mom&Pop grown pumpkin. Like a good parent, if your pumpkin is this good why smother it? 88/100
