Harpoon Brewery – Pumpkin Cider (2013)

04 Oct

NicAA: Sunshine in a glass, still. Aroma of sweet and tart apple, delicate cinnamon and nutmeg and a dash of pumpkin. 8/10

NicTM: Very unlike aroma. Quite tart, a “farmy” cider with a little bitterness. Nutmeg is a little jarring. Woody finish. 7/10

NicP: A lot more in the nose than on the tongue. Aroma is quite clean but the pumpkin gets lost in the jumbled flavors. 2p

NicO: Tartness and slight vinegar dictates I wouldn’t want a bunch. Refresher after a few beers, but not main course. 75/100

AlexAA: pale, crystal clear light yellow w/ an aroma filled with tart apples, cloves and cinnamon 6/10

AlexTM: Tartness in taste w/ strong apples covered in ginger, cloves, & nutmeg, a puckering fade into dry chemical finish 4/10

AlexP: Wait, this was a pumpkin cider? 1P

AlexO: You usually have me at tart, but not at nutmeg dominated apples in a water chlorine puddle. 40/100
