Weyerbacher Brewing Co. – Imperial Pumpkin (2013)

NicAA: Glowing ruby with fast-gone head, and a slap of spice straight to the sinuses. Cardamom, cinnamon and clove, pow! 9/10

NicTM: Rich and full body, med. carb. Less sweet than nose, biscuit malt upfront, cardamom and clove warm up the finish. 9/10

NicP: Roasty, sweet. Keeping pace with the bold spice swirls it in at the finish, in an embrace with the clove+cinnamon. 4p

NicO: The beer equivalent of your comfy, warm, well-loved sweater. Smooth, well made and never overstated. Delightful. 88/100

AlexAA: rich scarlet color with a thick cinnamon scent, and trace cloves and pumpkin to the nose 9/10

AlexTM: chocolate body w/ carb. to carry heavy spice load of cardamom, cloves, nutmeg & cinnamon, slight alcohol kick 9/10

AlexP: W/ this many complex flavors, you’d think the pumpkin would disappear, instead, it buoyantly sustains complexities 5/10

AlexO: This is the “Old Man” of the pumpkins – layered in rich spice; a warming sipper. Bring on the Daddy Issues. 96/100
