Ithaca Beer Co. – Country Pumpkin (2012)

28 Aug

NicAA: Cinnanon, sugary malt and a touch of vanilla make a wonderful pie and crust aroma. Pours light orange with slight haze, no head. 9/10

NicTM: Light, mod-high carb. Definite pumpkin taste, the spices are very subtle and make the overall taste v. light and easy drinking. 7/10

NicP: There in the taste and subtle in the aroma, more on the fresh, young pumpkin side. I’d prefer the pumpkin a little sweeter. 7 pumpkins

NicO: Tasty, light, refreshing, this is an early fall pumpkin. Not overpowering, but not outstanding. You could drink a few though… 77/100

AlexAA: effervescent amber with a slight haze to it, small frothy head, pumpkin, cinnamon, and ginger peek thru in this scent 7/10

AlexTM: Cloves and ginger are the featured spices here, w/ some vanilla and cinnamon – the aftertaste is smacky pumpkin, + a lot of it. 7/10

AlexP: Fresh, watery, and somewhat fluffy – I could do without the backswing of pumpkin once I’m done drinking it, tho 9/10

AlexO: I find this a middle of the road ale, pleasant albeit the aftertaste…I might have a few more just to avoid it, but I might not. 70/100
