Elysian Brewing – Night Owl (2012)

28 Aug

AlexAA: slightly cloudy amber w/ light cream head, whiffs of cinnamon, pumpkin, and the smallest bit of cloves escape the glass – stunning. 9/10

AlexTM: flawless deep spices flood the senses w/ cinnamon + nutmeg hitting first, followed by all-spice, cloves leave a trail 10/10

AlexP: The pumpkin has clout. The spices are big, but, like a family gathering at my house, everyone can have a loud voice and be heard. 6/10

AlexO: Such a shame MA doesn’t get to drink this full ale that pays tribute to pumpkin w/ expert spicing. A pair of these hooters, please 95/100

NicAA: A hazy amber, little head. Smells of rich vanilla, ginger, cinnamon, + good helping of sweet pumpkin. Clove hiding behind. 10/10

NicTM: Pie…crust and all, and lovely sweet pumpkin. This beer is a delight, with balanced spice and a good helping of vanilla. Gorgeous! 10/10

NicP: Really great sweet pumpkin flavor, low carb works well in this beer+ the spice flavors + vanilla lift the pumpkin to great heights. 5p

NicO: Good Gourd if all their pumpkin beers are this good Im moving West Coast. Perfect balance+pie taste. Owl have another, or Twhoo! 97/100
